OLGA
GYMNASTICS AND TRAMPOLINE CLUB 

4 Boys from OLGA travelled to Newcastle for these Championships, held on 6 -7th May. Oliver Owen and Shea Winstanley were part of the South West Primary 4 Squad. Jamie Hendy was in the Primary 3 Squad and Tom Holroyd in the Primary 2 Squad.
 Oliver and Shea were up against boys representing The East, South East, London, East Midlands, The South, Scotland, North West, Yorkshire, Wales, Isle of Man, West Midlands. Oliver finished in 9th place out of 64 competitors who were in age. Shea finished 15th. Their efforts helped win the Bronze medal for the South West. Oliver has been selected to go to Lilleshall for National Squad training in June and December.

Jamie was competing against boys from Yorkshire, East Midlands, South East, London, The South, North West, The East, Wales, West Midlands, Isle of Man and Ireland. Jamie performance was outstanding and gained him a brilliant silver medal. This ensured Gold medal position for the team. Jamie has been selected to go to Lilleshall for National Squad training in June and December.

In Primary 2, Tom was up against stiff opposition from Wales, East Midlands, London, Yorkshire, North West, South East, The North, The South, The East and the Isle of Man. The team fought hard and finished in Gold Medal position, with Tom finishing 15th.

The boys learnt a lot from this competition, enjoyed the experience and are justifiably proud of their achievements. Click on the thumbnails below to enlarge the photos.
