Competitive Classes

Novice Development (4 - 7 years)
Development (7+years)
Members are invited to these classes
at the discretion of the Lead Coach. Classes are based on competitive
trampolining with an emphasis on body preparation, technical priorities,
nutrition, flexibility and discipline. There will be a two month trial
period for these classes, followed by a further two month period if
necessary
Training:
2 and 4 hours |
Competitive Grades 5,4,3,2 (7+ years)
Members of these classes will show
an aptitude for competitive trampolining and will be part of the
British Gymnastics competition structure. They will progress through the
grades on achievement of the National qualifying score for the relevant
grade and at the coaches' discretion. These sessions are structured to
include technical work, body and mind preparation, flexibility and each
gymnast will follow an individual training programme. there will be
continued assessment and monitoring.
Training:
Grade 5 - 2 -3 hours
Grade 4 - 2 - 4 hours
Grade 3 - 4 - 6 hours
Grade 2 - 4 - 8 hours |
Elite Grade 1
This squad will consist of those who
have competed successfully at National Level and can perform the routines
required for this level of competitive trampolining. They will have to
achieve a validation score at a Grade 2 competition in the first instance
and then achieve a compulsory and voluntary score at a competition during
the season to remain at this level. Members of this squad will be weighed
weekly and encouraged to follow a nutritional diet. Emphasis in training
is based on the National Technical Priorities, strength and conditioning
programmes, Cardio, flexibility and recovery.

6 - 10 hours. |

Podium
This squad consists of National
Trampolinists who have been selected to represent Great Britain at
World or European Championships (excluding IAGG), or who are on the World
Class Development or Podium programmes. All members of this squad receive
personal training programmes covering all aspects of preparation in line
with World Class requirements
