FLOWERS CUP  2007
 AALSMEER - HOLLAND

15 members from the OLGA Gymnastics and Trampoline Club flew out to Holland on 16th March 2007, to take part in the Flowers Cup Trampoline competition. Luke Rendell, Tom Lewis and Katy Ianson went out as part of the Great Britain Team, whilst the other 12 trampolinists; Zachary Sheridan, Jason Ryall, Sina Abolghassem, Joe Berry, Jordan George, Kayleigh Ward Bailey, Rebecca Finch, Claire Stapenhill, Joe McAdam, Luke Newey, Sian Meldrum and Danielle Pietruszka went out to represent the club. This was the 17th Flowers Cup with 376 competitors from 18 different countries taking part in this International Trampoline Competition.

The competition began bright and early on Saturday 17th March 2007 at 7.30am and saw the last competitor bounce at 9.15pm! It was a long but very successful day for OLGA and Great Britain. For Tom, Luke and Danielle this was their first Senior International event, competing against some of the best senior trampolinists in the World. From a group of 64 competitors Tom was placed 6th and Luke 9th, and in the Ladies, from a group of 37, Danielle came 7th an incredible performance from all 3. In the Class II Mens our youngest performers shone in a field of much older and more experienced competitors, with 3 OLGA members making the final and Jason Ryall taking the silver medal.
