Congratulations to GB & OLGA’s Kirsty Way who became Senior DMT European champion this last weekend in Azerbajan. Kirsty set a new world record score in the final to take the title. THis is a fantastic result and as you see from the picture kirsty could hardly believe it. Kirsty also captured a silver medal in the DMT team event with GB team mate. Congratulations to Kirsty and coaches Sharon Wood, and Thomas Holman

On trampoline OLGA had 3 gymnasts selected. Josie Spring the youngest member of the junior team at just 13 years old competed in the junior girls Trampoline event qualifying in 13th for the semi final, but unfortunately failed to complete her routine. Im sure Josie will learn valuable lessons and experience from the event. In the team event the girls finished in 4th.

Nathan Bailey competed all routines in qualification but narrowly missed out on a final. Nathan has suffered from bouts of illness this year and said he was happy to complete his routines but now wants to get back to full fitness for the up coming world cups.

Unfortunately in the last GBR training session Isabelle songhurst suffered a major injury dislocating her ankle. Izzy underwent surgery in Baku and is now home safe ready to start rehabilitation, OLGA will be behind Izzy all the way through her recovery. We would also like to thank the BG medical team for the outstanding service and support Izzy has received.
