
OLGA’s NATHAN BAILEY 9th AT RIO OLYMPIC GAMES
OLGA’s Nathan Bailey finished an incredible 9th position at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Nathan set a target of top 10 before leaving Rio and is very Happy with his performance. Nathan narrowly missed out on the Top 8 Final but is confident he will only get better from here, Bring on Tokyo 2020.
Nathan had a small error in his first routine but produced the best optional routine in his life to score 59.000 points, a personal best/British record. The routine was also the second highest Time of Flight of the competition withe 18.200. Another PB/British Record.

As most of you are probably aware this has been a historic Olympic games for British Gymnastics with GB claiming 7 Medals. Our first ever Women’s Olympic TRAMPOLINE finalists, Kat Driscoll finishing 6th and Bryony Page making history winning a silver medal. Well Done Girls.
Also a huge congratulations form OLGA for out Men’s and Women’s gymnastic teams out in Rio, The men have won 5 Medal and the Women 1.
2 Gold Medals – Max Whitlock
1 Silver Medals – Lewis Smith
3 Bronze Medals – Nial Wilson, Max Whitlock and Amy Tinkler
The teams both narrowly missed out on team medals finishing in 4th for the Men and 5th for the women.
