All gymnasts start in beginners and are constantly assessed for progress through the club.
All gymnasts progress through the British Gymnastics award scheme
All intermediate and advanced gymnasts have the opportunity to compete in
local county run competitions
All gymnasts participate in our annual novice championships (mid-year)
and gala night award show (end of year)

British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards

 The Awards cover six sets of 10 exercises, graded from the simplest level - Award 7 and working up towards a more advanced level - Award 2. Entrants must start with Award 7 and work through to Award 2 to ensure the correct progression as approved by the National Technical Committees. On each level six out of the ten moves must be completed in order to progress to the next level. Each set of ten exercises is clearly displayed on a wall chart for easy use in the gym.

For levels 7 to 2 there is a badge and certificate award available for each level. Once a participant has gained awards 7 to 2 they are entitled to send off for the Level 1 Award consisting of a badge, certificate and medal.
